However, I recently stumbled across the Christian Personal Finance blog, where writer Bob is organizing The 10-Day Give October 10-19. This might be just the inspiration I need to seek out new grassroots charities.

Will the 10-Day Give accept this atheist?

To the atheist from a believer..LOL.. So glad you joined up. I found your blog through the 10 Day Give. I really enjoyed reading about all your adventures and your HUGE love for giving..
Us Christians, don't always do what we are supposed to do - Love from the heart and Give from the heart and that's probably why so many don't believe - we fail all the time. I guess we rely on forgiveness to much.
Your blog has inspired me to step up to the plate and look at giving in a new way.
We sponsor a little boy in Tanzania! It was exciting to read about the contribution you made to the orphanage there.
